CRAIG MADDOX NEW MUSTANGS MANAGER

The Billings Mustangs have a new manager for the 2024 season! Craig Maddox, last season’s hitting coach and former San Francisco Giants hitting coach, will replace Billy Horton, who served as the team’s field manager in 2023. Maddox will lead a team of talented coaches in the dugout, including former 12-year MLB veteran Dennis Rasmussen, who returns as the club’s pitching coach, and Joel Hartman from Prospect Dugout, who will serve as the team’s hitting coach. Maddox and Rasmussen led the Mustangs to the league championship series in their previous roles and are excited to take on this new challenge. “Billings is a city with a rich baseball tradition, and I am eager to be a part of its baseball history. We are dedicated to delivering an exceptional 2024 season to our loyal fans and the entire community,” said Maddox. The Mustangs’ owner, Dave Heller, is thrilled to have Maddox and Rasmussen back and welcomes Hartman to the team. It’s an exciting new era for the Mustangs, and fans can’t wait to see what the 2024 season brings.
